Broadspire strengthens disability services with acquisition

Broadspire has finalized the acquisition of the assets of WorkAbility from its parent company, Assurant Employee Benefits. WorkAbility provides short- and long-term disability management services, as well as Family and Medical Leave Act administration. Both companies share a common focus on effectively managing employees' disabilities to help them return to work promptly and healthy.

The acquisition will enhance Broadspire's already solid foundation in the third-party administration industry, while providing WorkAbility and its clients with additional strength and stability. WorkAbility brings a strong customer base, an experienced staff, significant technology expertise and greater presence in the New England region.
