Broadspire names Peter Imbrogno executive vice president and chief operating officer

FORT LAUDERDALE , FLA. July 25, 2005 - Industry veteran Peter Imbrogno, a former managing director with CS STARS, has joined Broadspire as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Broadspire, a Platinum Equity company, is a leading provider of casualty and disability claims management and risk and safety consulting to companies in North America. In his new role, Imbrogno will be responsible for Broadspire's casualty claim and IT operations.

Prior to joining Broadspire, Imbrogno had been managing the CS STARS product management group, responsible for product strategy and practice development for claims management and risk management information systems. He was a member of the CS STARS Executive Committee and served as the business owner and sponsor of CLAIMTRAKKER, Marsh's first STARS-based, national claim management system. He also served as operations head of Marsh's claims consulting practice and was a senior consultant to carriers, claim administrators, service providers and clients on claims and operational issues.

Before joining Marsh in 1999, Imbrogno was executive vice president and chief operating officer of RSKCo/CNA and president and chief operating officer of Alexsis. He also was vice president and head of field operations at Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc., where he spent 20 years of his career. Imbrogno began his career with Allstate Insurance Company in 1973. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Finance.
