Broadspire's Plantation office nears complete operational recovery from Hurricane Wilma

PLANTATION, FLA., NOVEMBER 21, 2005 - Broadspire's Plantation offices are close to fully recovered from Hurricane Wilma. We are at full staff and full power, and believe that the impact to clients from the hurricane was minimal to non-existent. Following is a further update concerning our operations.

Broadspire lost no data during the storm or the recovery period. No systems failed, though we did experience two brief shutdowns due to sporadic generator problems.

Broadspire's Plantation IDM team is at full staff after operating with about 75 percent of its employees late last week and early this week. The IDM team did not miss a check cycle during the recovery period; however, some check deliveries were delayed due to postal and delivery issues after the storm. IDM's intake unit was placed on disaster recovery mode through Friday, October 28, which allowed callers to leave a voice mail or hear a special message. The team has retrieved all messages that were left during the recovery period and has responded to all calls.

Telephonic Care Management is functioning at full capacity and productivity. Field Care Management is also operating with a full staff, and South Florida FCM team members are keeping appointments as usual. Utilization Management is fully staffed and current regarding its workload. MBR also is fully staffed and the business unit is meeting customer commitments in required time frames.

Neither Plantation building sustained structural damage. Electricity has been fully restored to both buildings. Although FPL does not anticipate any further power outages, both Broadspire's generators are currently operable in case of emergency.

If you would like further detail about our Plantation operations, please get in touch with your regular Broadspire contact.
