ISO ClaimSearch

ISO ClaimSearch is one of the pro-active industry tools that Broadspire uses to control the cost of claim settlements. The ISO ClaimSearch database, which Broadspire uses to check for potential fraudulent claims, collects electronically filed claim information from participating insurance companies and third party administrators.

Claim searches identify claimants with matching names, addresses, Social Security numbers, and/or birthdates. If matches are found, ISO notifies Broadspire that a claimant may have a history of filing workers’ compensation claims, filed previous claims for the same part of the body, or that there may be other suspicious claim practices

Broadspire submits claim data to ISO on all new claims and subsequently every six months while a claim is open.
