DANIELLE LISENBEY
PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, BROADSPIRE
Broadspire President and Chief Executive Officer Danielle
Lisenbey leads a team of seasoned professionals to provide an
industry-leading suite of tailored, integrated TPA services to
employers and insurance companies. Her responsibilities include
driving new and expanded business development, collaborating
with clients to develop long-term strategic plans, increasing
Broadspire’s global footprint, and delivering continuous
operational improvement. As a member of the executive
management team for Crawford & Company, Broadspire’s
parent company, Danielle works with leadership to support
Crawford’s mission to be the insurance industry’s
service provider of choice by delivering the highest quality
claims and administrative solutions in each of the markets it
serves.
Danielle’s distinguished career with Broadspire and its
predecessor companies spans more than 20 years, during which
time she has held leadership roles in a variety of capacities.
Most recently, she served as chief operating officer of the
Medical Management division. In this position, Danielle drove
the continued development and delivery of products and services
that have generated cost containment results typically 10 to 15
percent better than those produced by other TPAs and medical
management companies. She was also recognized by premier
workflow-solutions provider LexisNexis as a Workers
Compensation Notable Person in 2010, an honor that underscores
her prominence in the industry as awardees are selected via
feedback from various organizations and experts in the field.
Danielle holds a Bachelor’s degree in industrial
engineering and technology from Western Illinois University.
She is a member of the Association of Operations Management,
the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and the National
Association of Women Executives.
NEIL LENTINE
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, CLAIM AND CLIENT SERVICES
Neil Lentine is responsible for overseeing client service management strategies,
field claim operations, business support services and carrier relations. He is
also charged with monitoring team member and client relationships.
Lentine joined Broadspire in 2003 after holding senior-level positions in claims
and client services for Kemper Risk Management and Reliance National Insurance
Company. Prior to working with Kemper, he held leadership positions in claims
management at AIG and Liberty Mutual.
Lentine started his 27-year career in the insurance industry in 1985 after
receiving a bachelor’s degree in political science from Rider University in
Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
ERICA FICHTER
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, MEDICAL MANAGEMENT
Erica Fichter manages Broadspire’s medical management
operations providing a wide spectrum of integrated services including:
medical bill review, field and telephonic case management, utilization
review, physician review, the BOLD PPO Network and more. She oversees
a nationally located staff of over 500 clinical professionals.
Fichter has more than 22 years of experience in the medical and
insurance fields. She has worked with Broadspire for the past 16 years,
starting as a billing analyst and working in a number of management
positions with increasing responsibilities. Fichter was eventually
promoted to director of MBR operations. In 2012, Fichter was promoted
to manage Broadspire’s Medical Management team.
She holds a Bachelors of Science from Florida International University.
DONALD R. GRAY
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CLAIMS
Donald R. Gray is senior vice president of claims for Broadspire. Gray is
responsible for the national field claims, medical bill processing and risk
technical center operations of all Broadspire branches.
Gray earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University
of Texas, Permian Basin, located in Odessa, Texas. He also holds an industry
designation of Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA).
Gray has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Most
recently, he was regional manager of the southwest region for a third-party
administrator.
JACOB LAZAROVIC, MD
CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Jacob Lazarovic directs the Medical Department at Broadspire. The department
produces clinical guidelines and criteria that support sound medical claim and
case management practices; participates in analysis, reporting and benchmarking
of outcomes and quality improvement initiatives; develops educational and
training programs that update the clinical knowledge and skills of claim
professionals and nurses; provides expertise that enhances the medical bill
review process; and operates a comprehensive and unique in-house physician
review (peer review) service.
Dr. Lazarovic held several senior medical management positions at companies
including HealthAmerica, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida and Vivra Specialty
Partners before joining Broadspire seven years ago. His responsibilities have
encompassed network development and contracting, utilization and quality
management, reimbursement programs and managed care oversight. Dr. Lazarovic has
published extensively, including a recent chapter in the Handbook of Complex Occupational
Disability Claims.
A board-certified family physician, Dr. Lazarovic attended medical school and
completed residency training at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and
practiced family and emergency medicine before entering into full-time medical
management.
MARK STERGIO
CEO AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, RISK SCIENCES GROUP
Mark draws upon a rare skill set that combines 30 years of both business and
technology leadership in the insurance and financial services industries.
Before moving to the CEO role at RSG, he was Chief Information Officer for
Broadspire. His experience includes several roles in information and business
technology for units of The Hartford Financial Services Group, including
leadership of The Hartford’s RMIS unit, for which he was responsible
for financial results and product development. He also held the position of
chief information officer of claims and spent 10 years in actuarial research at
The Hartford, with responsibility for premium and dividend reserving as well as
national account profitability analysis. Before coming to Broadspire in 2007, he
was vice president of the Hanover Technology group, where he managed technology
development for the Hanover Insurance Group. Mark’s expertise in multiple
initiatives, which includes designing, developing and strengthening new systems,
supports Risk Sciences Group’s commitment to ultimately providing clients
with the most effective RMIS in the industry.
TAMI STEVENSON
GENERAL COUNSEL
As General Counsel for Broadspire, Tami E. Stevenson is responsible
for corporate licensing and compliance, customer and vendor contracts,
acquisitions and divestitures, among other duties. Prior to joining
Broadspire in 1997, Stevenson was senior counsel for Substance Abuse
Technologies Inc. and corporate counsel for Gulf Atlantic Management
Group Inc. She also was a staff sergeant and avionics technician in
the U.S. Air Force Reserve for six years, graduating with honors from
the Air Force Technical Training School and receiving an Outstanding
Achievement Medal during her service.
Stevenson earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of
Florida and a juris doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law.
She is a member of The Florida Bar.
MICHAEL HOBERMAN
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF CLIENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
As senior vice president of client and business development,
Michael Hoberman is responsible for establishing sales and marketing
strategies and growing Broadspire’s book of business.
Michael has nearly 30 years of industry experience and has held several
executive sales and account management positions. He began his career
in the insurance industry as a claims professional for Liberty Mutual
and Signet Reinsurance Company. He spent 10 years at Reliance National,
ascending to various positions of greater responsibility. He then spent
six years with the Broadspire organization and its predecessor organization
as a senior vice president of business development. He then served as senior
vice president of business development and client services for a major
U.S.-based third party administrator. Michael has rejoined Broadspire to lead
the company’s client and new business efforts and strengthen brand recognition
within the national and international marketplace.
Michael holds a Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland. He has
earned a CPCU designation from the College of Insurance and has attended several
management trainings.
